New Mod Alert : Dual Wielding

I challenged myself to make a mod in one day, since I haven’t made anything for this game in ages, here is the result!

Dual Wielding mod for Cruelty Squad!

Usage:
Use with Mod Loader found in the pinned messages, extract it into your mods folder to use.
Hold down your interact key in game while looking at a weapon to pick it up in your left hand. Tapping the key will pick it up normally.

Features:

  • Dual wield any combination of weapons
  • Ammo display that appears when second weapon held
  • Reload both simultaneously
  • Switching weapons while dual wielding drops the left hand weapon similar to Halo 3
    because I felt like nerfing it a little
  • Throw each weapon one after the other
  • Dual wield zippy for the first time ever
  • Piles of spaghetti code to get it all to work, hopefully most edge cases dealt with

Enjoy and let me know if you find any bugs!
(Disclaimer: There will probably be bugs, the weapon code is divinely challenging to work with)

For modders:
This mod makes sweeping edits to weapon.gd, and also changes in UI.gd and weapon_pickup_new.gd slightly.
It also makes changes in the Rotation_Helper.tscn and UI.tscn scenes

    - Extract the mod folder in %appdata%\Godot\app_userdata\Cruelty Squad\mods\
    (This folder is created automatically if you run the game with the mod installed,
    or you can create it yourself).
    - Make sure the mod is sitting in its own folder
    (...\Cruelty Squad\mods\Mod Name\mod.json and other mod files).
    - Load Cruelty Squad.

- enforced use of mouse buttons to shoot and R to reload, overwrites whatever keys you normally use but only while dual wielding (you no longer need to rebind keys for the mod to make sense)

- fishing rods work in both hands now holy shit!1!!11!

CHAOS STAR
This stuff is so cool, feels so fun to dual wield whatever and blast some guys with it. You kill a guy, you pick his gun with your offhand and go "pew pew pew" twice at the same time. Absolutely brilliant tech. Unfortunately the shotgun armor piercing mod doesn't seem to work when this one's in the mods folder, maybe some conflict, but oh well, what can ya do, this is still awesome. 9/10.
